Employee Bonus Letter

An Employee Bonus letter is given to a company employee to inform him of the bonus that is credited to him. A bonus is not always contractual in a company and as such, proves to be a blessing or added incentive to the employee. It could be given once a year or anytime during the year if the company outperforms its sales KPI (key performance index). The letter apart from informing the employee of receiving a bonus may also contain congratulatory messages to congratulate the employee on getting the bonus.

A bonus letter intends to show the tremendous of hard and smart work performed by a particular employee. Bonus letters are usually sent to employees to appreciate the work that they have done. The bonus letter must provide specific details as to why the employee is being rewarded with a bonus. This letter can be written either formally or informally dependingĀ on the organisation, but it is mostly written in a formal manner. This letter is written by the management of the organisation.

It is my pleasure to inform you that T.G. Corporation has fared beyond its 2016 targeted KPIs in all its divisions. The management of T.G. Corporation is very much delighted to note the hard work of all its employees to bring about this excellent performance for the past year. We would like to congratulate you for receiving this bonus as it is an extremely high honour bestowed only to a very few.

It is my privilege to inform you that you have been awarded a bonus of 3 months of your monthly salary. As you might know, we have always been appreciative of the extreme amount of hard work put in by our employees and always make it a point to present them with a reward in some form or the other.
