If you are a teacher who plans to resign from a job, you might be worried about how to word your resignation letter. It is with mixed emotions that I submit this letter of resignation. I have enjoyed working at ABC Middle School for the last 25 years. Many of these students attended college and became teachers, attorneys and other professionals. It warms my heart think that I may have played a small role in their success.

TheMcDonalds Monopolygame is a sales promotion ofMcDonaldsandHasbro, which uses the theme of the latters board gameMonopoly. The game first ran in the U.S. in 1987 and has since been used worldwide.

The promotion has used other names, such asMonopoly: Pick Your Prize!(2001),Monopoly Best Chance Game(20032005),Monopoly/Millionaire Game,Prize Vault(2013-2014),Money Monopoly(2016-),Coast To Coast(2015-) in Canada,Golden Chancesin the UK (2015-), Prize Choice in the UK (2016-), Win Win in the UK (2017-) and Wiiiin!! in the UK (2018-).[citation needed]

The promotion has been offered in the United States, Canada,[1]Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and United Kingdom since 1987. Like many merchants, McDonalds offered sweepstakes to draw customers into its restaurants. Laws generally forbid a company fromadministering its own contests, in order to prevent fraud and to ensure that all prizes are given away. McDonalds had a relationship withSimon Worldwide Inc., which was responsible for the distribution of the contest pieces and the awarding of major prizes.

In 2015, the Monopoly game was replaced in the US by Game Time Gold, using an NFL theme.[2]In 2016, the Monopoly game returned.

In 2000, the U.S. promotion was halted after fraud was uncovered. A subcontracting company called Simon Marketing (a then-subsidiary ofCyrk), which had been hired by McDonalds to organize and promote the game, failed to recognize a flaw in its procedures. Chief of security Jerome P. Jacobson[3]was able to remove the most expensive game pieces, which he then passed to associates who would redeem them and share the proceeds. The associates won almost all of the top prizes between 1995 and 2000, including McDonalds giveaways that did not have the Monopoly theme. The associates netted over $24 million. While the fraud appeared to have been perpetrated by only one key employee of the promotion company, and not by the companys management, eight people were originally arrested, leading to a total of 21 indicted individuals.[4]The relationship between McDonalds and Simon Marketing broke down in a pair of lawsuits over breach of contract, eventually settled out of court, with McDonalds claim being thrown out and Simon receiving $16.6 million.[5]Due to a constitutional violation, four of those convicted of the fraud were later released as they were not initially charged with the offense.[6]

Although game rules prohibited the transfer of prizes, McDonalds waived the rule and made its last $50,000 annuity payment in 2014.[7]Investigations later indicated that Jacobson had admitted to sending the winning piece to the hospital.[8]

The promotion mimics the gameMonopoly. Originally, customers received a set of two tokens with every purchase, but now tokens come only with certain menu items. Tokens correspond to a property space on the Monopoly board (with the exception of theGolden Avenue/Arches Avenueproperties, which were added in the 2008 edition; andElectric Company/Water Worksutilities added in 2014). When combined into color-matched properties, the tokens may be redeemed for money. Historically, the grand prize ($1 million,annuityonly) has been the combination of the two most costly properties, Park Place and Boardwalk, but in the 20062007 games the top prize ($5 million, with the traditional $1 million prize for Boardwalk/Park Place) was awarded for collecting the four railroads. There are also instant win tokens the recipient can redeem for McDonalds food (typically small menu items, such as a free smallMcFlurryormedium fries) but never for any food item that has game pieces, money, or other prizes. The 2001 edition was titled Pick Your Prize!, in which winners could choose which of three ways they wanted their prize awarded to them (i.e. they could choose if they wanted their $1 million in gold, diamonds, or $50,000 per year for 20 years). In 2016, the game changed where all available prizes were cash, including the $1 million for Park Place and Boardwalk, and was titled Money Monopoly.

Additionally, in the 2005 edition, certain foods always came with one coupon which could be used at eitherBest BuyToys R Us, orFoot Locker(including online stores). The value of each coupon was random, withToys R Uscoupons ranging from $1 to $5; up to $5 in coupons could be used in a single transaction. In 2008, these coupons were redeemed for up to 25% off any Foot Locker item(s). Since 2009, the promotion has not featured any coupons.

In 2005, McDonalds introduced an online counterpart to its traditional game. In addition to the traditional sticker game, participants can play online. Each game piece lists a code which can be entered online, to a maximum of 10 entries per 24 hours, a day starts at midnight EDT. Up to 2014, each code entered grants the user one roll on a virtual Monopoly game board, identical to the board games board. Rolling doubles (two dice sharing the same number), as with the real board game, allows the user to move again.

Landing on Electric Company, Income Tax, Jail/Just Visiting, Go to Jail, Water Works, or Luxury Tax does not count towards any prize. If a player lands on an unowned property (not landed upon by the player in a previous turn), the user will collect that property. When all properties of a colored set are collected, the user wins a prize, with prize values similar to those of the sticker game. In addition to collecting property sets, users can also win by landing on certain instant win spaces, including Go, Chance, Community Chest, and Free Parking. Landing on Go (but not simply passing it) gives the player a code worth one free hour of WiFi access at participating McDonalds restaurants. Landing on Chance is worth money to spend atFoot Locker. Landing on Community Chest allows the user to be given a code worth 25 My Coke Rewards points. Landing on Free Parking is a prize of a $50 refillable gas card from Shell, or alternatively 25 complimentary apple pies.

In 2009, the prizes became two hours of Wi-Fi and a $25 Arch Card for landing on Go, an entry into an online roll for $1,000,000 (annuity) for landing on Chance, 25 My Coke Rewards points for landing on Community Chest, and a $50 refillable Shell gift card for landing on Free Parking.

The values of the dice are not random. As stated in the contest rules, one property in each set is rare, similar to the sticker game. These rare properties are landed on only when the game server seeds a winning roll. Winning rolls are seeded at specific times on specific dates, and the first user to roll the dice once a win has been seeded will land on a winning piece. This allows McDonalds to declare the odds of winning certain prizes, a legal requirement for contests in most jurisdictions.

In 2010, the online game was changed, removing the dice and the game board, presenting only 3 Chance cards from which to pick. One has a prize, starting at 30My Coke Rewardspoints, but may be (non-randomly) seeded with a higher-valued prize. Player chooses one card, is asked if that is the choice the player wants to make, and the card is flipped. If it is the pre-selected winning card, the player wins the pre-selected prize.

In 2011, the game was changed again the mascot,Rich Uncle Pennybags(aka Mr. Monopoly), is shown attempting to throw a Chance card into a top hat. If the card lands in the hat, the player can claim a prize. Players must choose a throwing style, which only changes the animations used it does nothing to affect ones odds of winning.

In 2012, the game was changed once more. Players must click on Spin first, and if it landed on GO!, the player wins the online prize shown. The next year, players had to click on Play; a win resulted in the prize shown onscreen; regardless of the outcome, players received an entry to win a 2013 Fiat 500 Cabrio. For the 2014 game, players must click on GO!, and if it results in a win, the online prize is shown onscreen; regardless of the outcome, the participant receives an entry to win $50,000.

In 2016, players can enter up to ten codes daily in order to win weekly sweepstakes with a $50,000 grand prize.

For all versions of the online game, players are restricted to a set number of online entries per day.[14]In the UK, this is restricted to 24 entries. In USA, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Saipan, the limit is 10.

Players in the UK must be aged 16 years or older.

Later we met DGM (FP) and enquired about any progress in holding of DPC for promotion to AO and CAO grades. He informed us that work for promotion from JAO to AO is in progress and promotion orders may be expected by Friday. In respect of AO to CAO promotion he told us that due to court case this has been held up, however efforts are being made for an early decision from the court.

CMD BSNL has reportedly approved the proposal for upgradation of about 2300 SDE posts to DE posts and diverting 1000 Management Trainee posts for DE promotion, so that about 4800 SDEs of list no 5,6 & 7 can be promoted as DE.

Before initiating the process for DPC, PERS section is said to be preparing to file a Miscellaneous Application in CAT Chandigarh for allowing BSNL for conducting DPC without following the catch-up rule in view of recent decision of Honble SC of India and order issued by DOP&T on reservation in promotions. After getting orders from Honble CAT necessary action will be taken for conducting DPC from DE to DGM. A favourable decision in the MA will also pave the way for promotion from AO to CAO and other promotions too where DPC have been held up due to direction given by courts to conduct DPC by considering catch-up rule.

(3) JTO (TF) to SDE (TF) and SDE(TF) to AGM (TF) promotions:

As per our information various hurdles have been removed and now DPC work will commence soon. Final seniority list of JTO (TF) has been uploaded in our website and DPC for 34 clearly available vacancies of SDE (TF) will be held soon. We will make efforts to ensure that DPC is held for all the available vacancies. DPC for SDE to AGM will be held for 14 vacancies.

In continuation of its letter dated 15.6.2018, BSNL CO has stated that the promotion and postings are on as is where is basis.View letter

GS met DGM (FP) on 15.06.2018 and discussed about Promotion to AO and CAO consequent to the interim orders of Honble Supreme Court on reservation in promotion. We also refered to our earlier discussions with GM (FP) on this issue. DGM (FP) informed us that SEA section is not in position to issue the promotion orders due to various court cases pendng. He said that JAO to AO promotion is held up due to stay by Honble Karnataka High court by the departmental JAO of 2010 opposing the combined eligibility list of outsider and departmental JAO. However, efforts are being taken by SEA section to vacate the stay. SEA section also proposed to upgrade some of JAO post to AO post so that maximum number of JAOs can get the promotion. File in this regard is with PERS section. Later in the day we discussed this matter with Jt GM (PERS) requesting early clearing the concerned file. If the proposal of SEA section is agreed to, more than 1000 JAOs may be promoted as AOs. AO to CAO Promotion is also held up due to various court cases pending in Haryana and MP. In this regard a common case is being filed by PERS section and efforts are being taken by PERS section to file MA in all the courts through ASG or senior advocate. We hope that soon a decision may come so that about 500 AOs may get the promotion.

Promotion of JTOs (T) to the grade of SDE (T) in B.S.N.L. against 67% seniority-cum-fitness quota:

BSNL CO has issued orders promoting 2855 JTOs (T) against 67% seniority cum fitness quota and another 284 JTOs subject to ascertaining their Vigilance status. This has ended the agony of the JTOs who were waiting for their promotion for more than a decade. It is really sad that many have retired during this period without getting their due promotion. When others were making merry over acceptance in principle by BSNL Board, the Executive Promotion Policy Amendment & Recruitment Rules to be implemented from 1.7.2018, AIBSNLOA was first among a few associations which demanded filling up of all existing vacancies in all grades before implementation of the EPP A&RR and sincerely worked for it. Supreme court orders on promotion with reservation and judgment of Ernakulam High Court came as timely boon. However, our gratitude goes out to the Personnel Section, right from DM, AGM, Jt.GM and GM who acted with swiftness to ensure issue of the orders and Director (HR) & CMD who were behind the decision.

GS along with Com. Sanjay Vishnoi met GM (FP) on 08.06.18 and requested filling up the posts OF AO/CAO lying vacant for a long time since SEA section could not fill them up due to court cases. In view of the recent Supreme Court orders on promotion with reservation and Managements decision to implement revised Executive Promotion Policy w.e.f. 1.7.2018, we requested that DPC for promotion to these grades be conducted at the earliest so as to give relief to the executives awaiting promotion for the past few years. GM (FP) told us that after getting full details of the decision given by the Honble Supreme Court of India and discussing with the personnel section necessary action will be initiated for conducting DPC for filling up the vacant posts of AO and CAO. However, GM (FP) assured us that she will issue necessary direction for commencing of preparatory work for conducting DPCs so that the process can be completed in the shortest possible period of time after getting clearance from Honble Courts where cases are pending.

GS along with Shri S.P. Sharma GS BSNLWRU met Director (PSU) DoT and discussed the following issues:

1. Pay revision for BSNL employees with 15% fitment:

Director (PSU), DoT informed us that the proposal forwarded by BSNL Board was sent to DPE for their comments and advice because the proposal of BSNL Board was not in accordance with the guidelines issued by DPE as per the recommendations of 3rd PRC. DPE had returned the proposal to DoT with the comments that the proposal of BSNL is not as per the already issued DPE guidelines based on the recommendation of 3rd PRC and the approval of Cabinet. It had suggested that DoT should therefore take the approval of the Cabinet. Therefore, cabinet note is being prepared by DoT in consultation with the DoT Finance. The cabinet note will be submitted to Honble MOC & IT for his approval. Once this is approved by the Hon ble MOC & IT the note will be circulated to all the concerned Ministries governing the departments DoE, DOP&W, DPE, Niti Aayog etc. Afterwards, the Cabinet memo along with the comments of different Ministries will be submitted to Cabinet for its approval. On our enquiry, Director (PSU) informed us that cabinet note is being prepared on the same line as proposed by BSNL. But this whole process will take about two to three months. We requested him to expedite the work as the delay is causing anxiety among BSNL employees. On this, he assured us that BSNL employees will definitely get the pay revision and he will try to complete the work at his end at the earliest.

2. Replacement of E1A and E2A scale by E2 & E3 pay scales to the JTO and SDE equivalent executives of BSNL:

In this regard Director(PSU) informed us that proposal was sent to DPE and DoE for their comments but comments received from both are not positive and both the departments have said that this issue can be decided by the concern administrative ministry. As pay scale for JTO and SDE cadre has already been decided by the DoT and conveyed to BSNL, no further action is required from DoT side. We requested Director (PSU), DoT that DoT, being an administrative ministry, should take an appropriate action in this regard to keep the morale of BSNL executives high, especially newly recruited JTOs. Director (PSU) assured us that he will look into it.

3. Revision of pension of BSNL retirees:

In this regard Director(PSU) informed us that this does not come under his preview but said that revision of pension is possible only after revision of pay of BSNL employees because fitment benefit for pension revision will depend upon the fitment benefit for pay revision of serving BSNL employees.

After the meeting with Director (PSU), DoT, GS and Shri S.P. Sharma GS BSNLWRU met GM(SR), BSNL and discussed about the developments taking place in DoT in respect of implementation of 3rd PRC recommendation in BSNL. In this regard GM (SR) updated us that Director (HR), BSNL is in constant touch with Member (F), DoT and Member (F) has also given assurance to Director (HR) BSNL that all efforts are being taken by DoT so that 3rd PRC recommendation can be implemented in BSNL with 15% fitment.

Applicability of E6 IDA pay scale upgradation under EPP to Group B absorbeed working as DGM on adhoc basis:

AIBSNLOA has been pursuing this issue for a very long time without let up and GM (Pers) on 31.5.2018 had agreed to issue necessary clarifications at the earliest. Finally BSNL CO has issued necessary clarifications as requested by us.

Provisional seniority of SDE (T) – List 8 – updated as on date:

BSNL CO has circulated the provisional seniority list-8 of SDEs (T) asking individuals to intimate errors and omissions through proper channel.

Extending soft tenure facilities to JTO and below level grades (non-executives) opting/trasnferred to Circle Office, AP Circle at Vijayawada:

BSNL CO has conveyed its decision that soft tenure facilities to JTO and below level grades (non-executives) may continue till further orders. The period of soft tenure will be three years.View orders

In a major relief to the Centre, the Supreme Court today allowed it to go ahead with reservation in promotion for employees belonging to the SC and ST category in accordance with law. It is made clear that the Union of India is not debarred from making promotions in accordance with law, subject to further orders, pending further consideration of the matter, the bench said.Read More

Meeting with Jt. General Manager (Pers):

GS met Jt. GM (Pers) today and discussed about Seniority cum Finess promotion in different cadres and requested him to expedite the work so that promotion orders can be issued timely. Jt.GM (Pers) said that work is in progress and if everything goes in the right direction, promotion orders under SCF quota for JTO to SDE and SDE to DE may be issued in this month. However, for DE to DGM promotion it will take some more time since Supreme Court order on seniority as per Para 206 has to be implemented.

Updation of status in ERP – absorbed DGM:

BSNL CO has requested all circles to go through the attached list of DGMs (T) Adhoc/Regular and update the fields correctly before 11.6.2018.View letter

GS along with leaders Organisation of BSNL Unions and Associations met GM (SR) yesterday and enquired about the status of 3rd PRC in DoT and submission of cabinet note for implementation of 3rd PRC in BSNL. We also informed GM (SR) that already a letter has been given by OBUA to Honble Prime Minister of India wherein it has been mentioned that for implementation of 3rd PRC in BSNL approval of cabinet is not required. Because earlier also, at the time of implementation of 2nd PRC recommendation in MTNL, Honble MOC has given approval of implementation of 2nd PRC in MTNL inspite of MTNL making losses. GM (SR) appreciated our point and we requested GM (SR) for taking up the case with this point so that 3rd PRC can be implemented in BSNL at the earliest.

We also drew his attention to our letter to Honble Prime Minister in respect of the formation of BSNL tower company and appointment of CMD for it by DoT, which is against the Articles of Association of the tower company. (According to Article 130 CHAIRMAN: (a) So long as the Company remains a subsidiary of BSNL, Chairman BSNL will also act as its Chairman or the BSNL may nominate a Director as Chairman of the Directors meetings and determine the period for which he is to hold office.).

We enquired about the status of our letters requesting GM (SR) for allotment of office accommodation to AIBSNLOA in BSNL Corporate Office, special C/L to the office bearers of AIBSNLOA and grant of immunity to our office bearer also. GM (SR) assured us that he will take necessary action on our requests.

We also requested GM (SR) to intervene in the matter of transfer of our Circle President of UP (W), Who has been transferred from UP(W) to NE-II circle, on the plea of longest stay while two other DGMs (F) working in UP (W) Circle are having longer stay than him. GM (SR) assured us that he will talk to the GM (FP) and ask her to take necessary action on our request.

GM (SR) also informed us that a new Grievance Redressal Cell has been opened for resolving the problems of the pensioners and a link has been created which can be accessed online either through the mobile or web. (Form available at

Employee Welcome letter

An Employee welcome letter is given by the management to a new employee to welcome the employee to the company. It is a letter that helps the new employee to feel at ease and to settle down in his new work surroundings easily and quickly so that he can perform well in the company. This letter is usually written by the Human Resources Department of the organization. The letter is written as a courtesy to welcome the new employee into an environment which they are not familiar with.

Since this is a welcome letter, it can be written in an informal manner to make the new employee more comfortable with the organization as well as with the people the employee is going to work with. Many organizations throw a small get-together to welcome a new employee. The letter must be written in a positive manner so that it helps the employee perform better as soon as they get adjusted to the environment and begin their work.

Technical : APWI(25%), Keyman/Keymate(33 1/3%, skilled posts in S&T(50%), Fireman A(25%)

Non technical : Account Clerk(25%),, Personnel Branch Clerk(25%),Commercial Clerk(33 1/2%), TC(33 1/2%), Train Clerk(33 1/2%), Timekeepers(33 1/2%),Fuel checkers(33 1/2%), Store clerks(33 1/2%), Markers(100%).

33 ½% quota of posts in the lowest grade of Commercial Clerks, Ticket Collectors, Train Clerks, Office Clerks and other categories of Clerks like Stores Clerk etc. are earmarked for promotion of Railway servants in the categories carrying grade Pay of Rs. 1800 for whom no regular avenue of promotion exists; the Group C categories being suitably linked with specified categories in Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 on the basis of broad affinity of work. (Ref 2)

Marks are given for written test 85 marks and record of service- 15 marks.

Question paper shall contain questions to test knowledge of ones work.

Written  test  should  consist  of  one  paper  of  3  hours  duration  divided  into  two  parts  –  Part  A  to  test  the  working  knowledge  of  the  Railway  servant  of  the  English  language  and  Part  B  his  general  standard  of  intelligence  and  proficiency  through  questions  in  Arithmetic,  General  Knowledge  mainly  pertaining  to  Railway  matters  and  matters  immediately  pertaining  to  the  work  he  has  been  acquainted  with  during  his  Railway  service.

Paper may be set in Bilingual in Hindi/English and may be answered in Hindi also.

Panel is formed on the basis of seniority from those who qualify.

Assessment  under  the  heading  Record  of  Service  will  be  based  on  entries  in  the  Service  Book/personal  file  regarding  academic/  technical  qualifications,  awards/  punishments,  etc.

Regular selections will be held for promotion from Group C to D every year by 31st March.

For  promotions  to  Group  C  posts  in  the  Ministerial  cadre,  Group  D  staff  will  be  required  to  possess  a  typing  speed  of  30  w.p.m.  in  English  or  25  w.p.m.  in  Hindi.  Promotions  may,  however,  be  allowed  on  provisional  basis  and  the  concerned  staff  given  two  years  time  from  the  date  of  promotion,  to  qualify  the  prescribed  typewriting  test.

The  standard  of  training  imparted  to  the  Group  D  railway  servants  selected  for  Group  C  posts  should  be  the  same  as  for  direct  recruits  for  the  same  Group  C  categories.

In  the  case  of  failures  in  the  first  attempt  such  employees  may  be  given  second  –  chance  to  qualify.

All  allowances  like  Dearness,  Compensatory  and  House  Rent  Allowances  will  be  allowed  to  them  at  the  scales  applicable,  had  the  stipend  been  treated  as  pay.

RRB&RRC both are danda nakka dannuku nakka………..They select candidates upto medical exam after that they rject candidates without any particular rrb candidates passing typingtest also rejected……….rrc  select candidates who pass in both Exam & pet but candidates who qualify in these both also rejected without any notifications any particular reason………And both boards RRB RRC take so long time (ie)If a boy studying 6std when he passes +2 exam then only 1stage exam results will be ZY PEOPLE TRAIN LAZY ..BOARD CELL ALSO VERY LAZY……….

Both rrb&rrc will not publish the marks of selected notselected candidates mark………….All depts like ssc publish marks………..but railway are NOT GENUINE IN PUBLISHING RESULTS MARKS….It is duty of board to publish marks…… But RRB RRC not publishing any marks…..Question may arise take long long long long long duration to publish results……….If they are genuine means then publish the marks why they donot publish marks with cutoff………….

You can apply for Graduate categories through GDCE exam if and when they are called. Graduate category include ASM, Goods Guard, ECRC etc.

First of all you have to understand that your qualification does not give any edge over others in Railway promotions. Because you have degree you can just write exams for Graduate level posts as and when they are called.

there is no minimum service for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe people . for others there should be minimum service of 3 years .
